peace out

i am leaving p-town tonight, so for those of you who read this, my lifewill become more interesting still. i am sad to be missing the next rock pit party, but i gotta go. next summer. grad school starts in a week-ish, so i will write about how it is. I've never been to kirkland so it's something new, at least! I will be back next summer for sure now cause Sparky asked me to work for her again.

Grad School

Well I got into Northwest University for grad school! I have to be there the 30th of august for registration, then classes start the 7th. i have classes saturday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. not too bad. Sucks for weekend trips but oh well, i guess. i cocktailed last night and saw my first drink poured into a lap of the offending person. good times. shitty tips but I wouldn't have been there for the action otherwise so it was all worth it.

Star Wars

I've never seen star wars, so zieak's mission is to educate me. we started with episode 4 last night, which i guess was the first one out. I only got to watch half of it though, cause i got called into work at kitos. moneywise, not worth it again, cannery night, shitty tips. otherwise worth it though, as there was a great fight at closing between the BAND MEMBER and stew. of course, you fight stew, you fight everyone, so in jumps tuck, then more, then it was a big disaster but hey its all in good fun for the bored cocktail waitress.

cocktailing

so i am not racist in any way (come on, I'm an indian) but i am NOt working for the bar on cannery paydays ever again. Thursday night: 9 locals, over 40 Mexican cannery workers. I had to speak my pathetic Spanish with a few of them who spoke NO english and couldn't understand prices so i had to do it in Spanish. In Mexico, tipping is not the custom, so they carry that here too and don't tip. My best night at the bar ever was $167, my worst in the $40's, average about $80 to $100 in tips, but Thursday night i made FOURTEEN DOLLARS. NEVER AGAIN will i put myself through that. I have never been so openly stared at and hit on, and it was not in a flattering way. gross. friday and saturday were MUCH better.
