Home again home again

well here i am back in P-town. so far I haven't gotten myself in too much trouble, to my knowledge at least. last night we went out to the harbor bar and brita, matte, zieak and i were a trivia team, and oh yes, we won. $160 plus the awe and respect of the others. yeah right. but still. Brita and I rocked the christmas carols, you should all know. 23 out of 24, while our two closest competitors got 13. oh yes, we rock. Hmmm then I guess there were two large parties afterwards but since I'm a loser I missed that memo and walked home. oops. I"m playing city league basketball and also playing with the high school girls, I just got back from practice. Chelsea tripped me and I have a big huge bump protruding from my elbow and it is turning blue. sweet.

My first company dinner

Last night I went with my friend Shawn, but we call him Beav (cause his last name is Beaver), to his winery company dinner. It was all fancy and catered and the booze did not stop flowing; holy crap those winery people like their alcohol! It was really fun. I got to be his, uh, trophy date...I have no aspirations to become a trophy wife in my life, but it was fun for a night to get all dressed up and go mingle among important wine people :) i think this is them :www.whitmancellars.com
they make good wine! Then we went to the Theta holiday party, where I got the NOW 19 CD in the white elephant gift exchange, and then we went to the Green afterwards. And today I thought I was gonna die for a while, but now I'm better :)

two to go

ok, for those of you still left reading this, in two days i will be FREE from the misery and torture that now engulfs me and i WILL put up both Vegas pictures and Fall (basically winter) formal. I have turned in two final papers, and have one that sara is proofreading right now, and i am half done with my take-home ed final. The last paper that sara is reading, though, is only 19 pages long, and is supposed to be 25-30, so that blows. Ok, back to work.

lots of stuff

So I realize i have been promising you all vegas pictures, and by "you all" i think i mean myself, cause i don't think anyone reads this anymore. but, just for myself i guess, i WILL post vegas pictures soon. I have three final papers and a take home final exam to finish first. I also will post pictures of our formal dance which was last night, since i did that last year for you all too. Today I worked at Whitman Cellars, which is a winery here in town. It's barrel tasting weekend, so i helped my friend Shawn, who was in vegas for one day with us, serve wine and whatnot. since it's the last day of barrel tasting, it was slow and mostly we just drank wine all day. and now i am off to our italian class dinner, where i will probably drink more wine.
