my life in the last 48 hours

so, not to brag, but my life is great:
1)passed my writtens
2)passed my orals
3)brita called
4)i got free lift tickets to ski for me and my roomie, we went today, plus got free lessons cause we're hot
5)i nominated mr eddy for a "distinguished teacher award" in january (all whitman seniors nominate one) and he WON! whitman is flying him to walla walla for my graduation in may and honoring him!
6)i met a girl at the bar who i had a weird connection with and it was really entertaining
7)i have not done ANY homework for 48 hours and i am not really even behind, since i have NOT A DAMN THING TO DO for the next two months

well, that's an assumption cause i don't know if i passed the first one yesterday. graduation exams this week, gotta pass to graduate. writtens were yesterday, orals today. everyone who reads this blog think thoughts about feminism at 5 pm washington time, ok? thanks. ps soon i am getting internet at my house again so i can post some pictures to entertain you. maybe my readership will rise again :)

no more sun

well here i am in seattle again. i think i'm going back to walla walla tomorrow. i am starting to panic a little about my tests. a 35 minute speech with no paper to read off is a damn long time. my cousin venise spent the night with me last night and we hung out doing pointless things until 2 AM. We tried to go to this sketchy dive bar and got rejected becasue we both have out of state ids. how lame is that. they claim the owner's rule is no one with out of state ids can drink there. i think that is state-ist.

I suck at technology

so i payed twelve bucks to join the wireless network here when there is one that my brother (who just got here) showed me that there is another one, which actually WORKS, for free. great. so here i leave in two days and i finally have internet service. oh well. kalen told me my new $1800 MacBook Pro is a huge waste on me. ouch.

happy st paddy's day!

well here i am in arizona, studying for grad exams and hangin out in the sun. today, there was sweet parade and then ample drinking of green beer, so i had to escape before i couldn't study anymore. this IS a retirement park, mind you. they do nothing but party,i've discovered. and i came here cause i thought it would be peace and quiet and no distractions to studying. i thought wrong. but i HAVE to study. i need to be a genius on all things related to the vietnam war, rock n roll, and feminist movements in nicaragua, nigeria, and the us. in ten days. if you have any brilliant insights, do comment. thanks.

MacBook Pro

This is my first post from my NEW COMPUTER! How exciting! It's really cool so far. We figured out how to make the internet. I'm a big huge idiot though and left the DVD that has EVERYTHING from my old computer on it in walla walla. damn it. i hate it when i'm stupid. Now i will have a computer for two weeks of spring break with NOTHING on it. sweet. at least i have internet access again. and i also left my camera connector cord in ww but my bro thinks his will work so i can start loading pictures onto here. I'm going skiing tomorrow and to arizona tuesday so maybe i'll have some cool pictures to show.

Spring break!

it is now spring break, for the next two weeks. yay. except that i just found out that i have my senior exams right after break, MONDAY for the written field exam and TUESDAY for the oral exam. the orals run from tues through the next monday so i am just one of the lucky few that got tuesday, the first day. at least i'll get it over with, if, knock on wood, i pass. tomorrow i have the WEST-B teacher certification exam, so i am not doing much tonight. lame. but last night ashley and i put away two bottles of wine, a shot of jager, and a few beers at the bar so today wasn't so fun, so it's ok to stay out of it tonight. tomorrow after my test i am leaving to go over to western washington, and i think i am going skiing sunday with my cousin. i went yesterday and my ankle held up, it's sore but i can still ski on it more or less. i love skiing. woohoo!

ok, i admit it. i am not proud of it. but i got a myspace thingy. www.myspace.com/karnajane. BUT I like my blog better. it has italian roots and i miss italy so i will stick with blogger. plus i know how to do it already, and i am too old to learn to use myspace in any impressive capacity (look at my page there and you will see that it is way boring). Can't teach an old dog new tricks, i tell ya...
